Aquarium
I took this photo at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. I took this set of photos there because this was a big part of my childhood. I was born in Chicago and have always loved the city. My dad had to travel a lot for work and we ended up going with him to Chicago a lot and we went here a lot as well. I took this angle because I love the big windows on this side of the building and wanted to convey the strong, solid feeling that radiates off of this building.

Details
Ancient
This set is the Field Museum in Chicago. This was also a big part of my childhood because I also went here a lot whenever I was in Chicago. I took pictures mainly of the top because I like the details of waves on that part of the building. I also took pictures of the columns because I like the ancient vibes they give off. I tried to capture the old and secure feeling that I think the building gives off.

Cool
This set I took while I was walking around with my family. I thought that this building was really modern and cool (as indicated by my titles). I tried to capture that sleek modern feel in my pictures. I had a bit of trouble with the cloudy lighting and the reflecting windows. I solved the reflections by either taking less pictures of windows or I just did my best to edit it to make it look better.

Dark
This picture set was taken on the bridge over the Chicago river. I as walking and I saw this building and I thought that it very much captured the essence of Chicago. It was old, tall, and had a lot of windows. It reminded me of the history of Chicago. I tried to capture the feeling of Chicago that this building gave off. I took pictures from right under the building to mess with the perception of the building.

Old
This set was also taking while walking around with my family. It was cold and drizzling but we kept walking. When I saw this building I pointed it out to them and I got excited by how cool it was. I liked the weird sides and the details between the floors. I tried to take most of my pictures from further away to get the whole building in the shot because I like the unity in the building. I tried to capture the big city feeling that it gave off.
